Reflections on Waste
In India I continued reflecting on waste, consumption, and plastic. I realized that plastic will never really go away. There is no 'away' in India, a very population dense country, like there is in the United States. In India, waste is very visible and the out-of-sight out-of-mind philosophy that works in the United States simply does not work.

Personal Reflections
I sure have an active 'inner Houdini' trying to escape wherever I am. My Houdini loves to search for the greener grass. How can I quiet him? I will pull more presence into my life. The mind creates stories and attachments -- we choose our own reality. Step back and examine the stories.
What I consume shapes me. This means not only food--but also media, knowledge, relationships. I can choose what I consume and prioritize holistic health! |
